My first Cadillac was this 1972 Coupe de Ville. I bought the car in september 1992 from a Florida dealer. He was selling the car for a local lady who was moving to one the Carolinas. I was still a student when I acquired it and I paid for it using the money I won in the Belgian version of Jeopardy. The previous owner must have taken very good car of this baby as she is in excellent condition. The only thing I have had to do on this car is some cosmetic and tune-up work. It is still my favorite driver. It handles better than the 1966 Convertible and has comparable power. Of course it does not handle as well as the 1975 Eldorado (which is front wheel drive), but on the other hand, the Eldorado is not as swift and uses more fuel. This car is mainly on the road during winter weekends (weather permitting), when it is used for local transportation and Sunday afternoon cruising.
